Performance Specs
There are two engines available for the entire lineup: a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 and a 6.7-litre Cummins Turbo Diesel inline-six. The first option comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, 410 horsepower, 429 lb-ft of torque, and a towing capacity of 8,047 kg. The 6.7-litre Cummins has a six-speed automatic transmission, including full electronic control and three planetary gear sets. It delivers 850 lb-ft of torque, 370 horsepower, and a towing capacity of 6,768 kg.
Design Elements
There's a considerable variety of fabrics for seating. The entry-level model comes with heavy-duty vinyl. Still, options also include cloth, leather-faced, and premium leather seats. There's a dual-zone air conditioning system available for the Rebel and upper trims. Sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors and LED interior lighting are only available for the Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited.
The Rebel and the Power Wagon come with a black "RAM" tailgate badge, clearance lamps, and black fender flares. The two highest models have body colour fender flares. At the same time, the rest of the lineup has none. The Power Wagon also has a trim-exclusive decal on the hood, side, and tailgate. All models have an LED tailgate hitch lamp.
Technology And Safety Features
Both Tradesman and Big Horn have a 5-inch multimedia centre equipped with Uconnect 3 and a 3.5-inch colour driver's display. Meanwhile, Rebel and above trims come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and Uconnect 5 NAV, plus a Premium 12-inch customizable in-cluster display. All models have temperature and compass displays and hands-free communication.
Most safety features are available across the lineup. Those include tire pressure monitoring, airbags, anti-theft engine immobilizer, electronic stability control (ESC), and four-wheel anti-lock disk brakes. Blindspot monitoring and rear cross-path detection are only available for the flagship model.
